How to Import Existing Affiliates into SATHI
Already running an affiliate program somewhere else? You can bring your entire ambassador list into SATHI in a few clicks — no reformatting, no manual column matching. SATHI figures it out automatically.
Before you start
You'll need a CSV file with your ambassador data. The only two columns SATHI requires are:
Name — first name, last name, or full name in any format
Email — used as the unique identifier for each ambassador
Everything else is optional. SATHI also accepts: Traffic, Revenue, Commissions, Address, Country, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Website. Your column names don't need to match exactly — SATHI will figure them out.

Step 1 — Open the Import screen
Go to Campaigns in the left sidebar and click Import.
Select the campaign you want to import these ambassadors into, then upload your file — drag and drop or select from your computer. Max file size is 10MB, max 1,000 rows per import.
Step 2 — SATHI maps your columns automatically
Once you upload your file, SATHI reads your column headers and a sample of your data and maps everything to the right fields automatically. This takes 1–3 seconds.
You don't need to do anything here — just wait a moment.
Step 3 — Review and confirm
Once mapping is done, you'll see a confirmation screen showing:
How many ambassadors are ready to import
How many already exist in SATHI
How your columns have been mapped
If SATHI is unsure about any column, it will flag it with a question — just confirm or skip it.
Updating existing ambassadors? There's a toggle on this screen: Update existing ambassadors with new data.
Off (default): SATHI only fills in empty fields for existing ambassadors. Nothing already in SATHI gets overwritten.
On: SATHI overwrites all fields for existing ambassadors with the new data from your file.
Once you're happy, click Import.
Step 4 — Import runs in the background
You don't need to wait. SATHI processes your file in the background while you get back to work. You'll get a notification when it's done.
What's next?
Your ambassadors are in. Now assign them to a campaign and they're ready to go.
